Lisa sat on the picnic blanket atop the crunchy, dried leaves and rested against the rough tree trunk. A cool, crisp breeze blew across her face. She closed her eyes and reveled in the sensation as leaves drifted down around her.

Desperatly seeking the Lord, Tammy planned a sunset prayer session in the middle of an empty field. Under the oak tree, she sat watching as the sun slowly dropped from the sky. As the cool wind blew around her, she began to pray. She saw a single leaf fall from the tree and praised God for orchestrating it all.

Jeweled by the sunset, the cascading ripples of the majestic waterfall broke through the evenings silence. Resonating forth a sound that caused me sit back in awestruck delight of God's beauty. The sounds played delicately in unison with the rushing tone of leaves being lead in a dance by the crisp, fall breeze. I dazzled at the view before me with great joy and drank in its pleasures.

It's time for the harvest dance. The air is crisp and the smell is clean. The leaves are falling from the trees, the colors are breath taking. So many colors God uses in our autumn picture, fading from greens to browns, with yellows, oranges and reds in between. The fire is snapping, the marshmellows are roasting, and the families are gathering. Fall has arrived and it takes my breath away. God is so good!

In the cool of the evening we meandered down the dirt road hand in hand. The array of color that consumed the canopy of trees around us was exquisite. I giggled as we reminisced about the evening he'd proposed. It was a night much like this... Peaceful. Delicate. He'd reached into his pocket and proceeded to kneel, I gleamed with a smile unlike any other. That night God gave me what I'd been praying for!

Harvest was a time to come together and enjoy the bounty from the hard worked land. But that was the past. Nowadays people are self-absorbed, striving to have more and more. Money's more important than people. Helping each other is a thing of the past. Quality time has disappeared. Family relationships have suffered. Priorities are skewed.

Love's the most important commandment and we've lost it!
Where is God?
Where is Love?

The tall oak in the middle of the yard shed it's leaves. Each breeze brought another dozen floating gently to the ground, blanketing the yard in reds, oranges and yellows. Children gathered the leaves into their arms, piled them high, then jumped in.

Bonfires, fireflies and roasting marshmallows. This time of the year is exciting. Piles of leaves to jump into, boys chasing the girls and girls giggling with glee. The air is crisp and the moon is full. Almost as if it were daylight. Everyone come join in on the hayride in the moonlight.
